AUGUST
AUGUST is inspired by sunsets. A moment between day and night. A space between routine and release, restraint and recklessness.
Bathed in the fading colours of dusk and the neon accents of night, the dancers navigate a sensual landscape that shifts between the perilous and the beautiful.
AUGUST is about endings and saying goodbye. It is about the changes that fling us together and tear us apart.
SEPTEMBER
To hold on, to be pulled away, to let go.
SEPTEMBER is about wanting to live in a moment forever, and the relentless pace of life dragging us forwards. It is about love and saying goodbye. It is a physical poem and a cascade of emotions.
An artistic collaboration with music producer Torben Lars Sylvest, designer George Hampton Wale, and the artists of National Dance Company Wales.
love to destroy
We are never still. Our bones reach, our blood streams and our nerves burn. Our body changes, blooms and decays.
Love to destroy is about the possibility of letting go, of all we know, and if necessary rejecting who we have been told we are.
It is about change, control, saying yes wholeheartedly and saying no firmly. It is a poem, a moment, a series of emotions; a reminder to feel.
NEVERSINK
NEVERSINK is about embracing life and transformation. It follows one person through a series of worlds, of fantasies that form and disintegrate around them.
Despite the chaos that surrounds us, the pressure, the absurdity, can we still take brave steps into the unknown? Can we approach the world with youthful, hopeful eyes?
